Terms and conditions

Last updated 3 October 2026

These terms govern registration, bidding, payment and collection at auctions held by MWS Auction.

1. Registration

You must be 18 or older and provide valid identification to register. You are responsible for everything done under your account, and you must tell us at once if you believe someone else has used it.

2. Bidding

Every bid is a binding, irrevocable offer to buy at that price. A bid cannot be withdrawn, cancelled or reduced once placed.

  • A maximum bid may be lowered by the leading bidder, but never below the current price.
  • Bids that do not follow the published increment ladder are refused.
  • The auctioneer may refuse a bid, withdraw a vehicle or reopen bidding where there is an obvious error.

3. Condition of vehicles

All vehicles are sold as they are and where they are. No guarantee, warranty or representation of any kind is given as to condition, mileage, roadworthiness, title or fitness for any purpose.

Photographs, descriptions and condition reports are provided in good faith as a guide only. You are responsible for inspecting a vehicle before bidding, and viewing days are provided for that purpose.

4. Payment

The invoice is payable in full by the date printed on it. Title does not pass until payment has cleared in full.

Where payment is not received by the due date, we may cancel the sale, retain the deposit and re-offer the vehicle.

5. Collection and storage

Vehicles must be collected within the free storage period shown on the invoice. After that, a daily storage charge applies until the vehicle leaves the yard.

6. Liability

Our liability in connection with any vehicle is limited to the amount paid for that vehicle. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss of any kind.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the emirate in which the auction is held have exclusive jurisdiction.
